Interactive Guided Meditation

1601454661You’ve heard about the benefits of a meditation practice, but it can be hard to do on your own.

Sometimes, it’s not easy sitting alone with yourself and all your thoughts.

And if you have an activated nervous system, trying to be still like this can feel outright excruciating.

It was for me the first time I meditated, for sure. Now it’s a regular part of my life.

How this is different from listening to a guided meditation on YouTube.

You’ll receive support from someone who can hold a safe space to guide you through your somatic and emotional responses.

When we’re connected with a trusted person, it’s easier to become grounded and find deeper healing.

I’ll help you turn your attention inward in a safe way, connect with the most essential aspect of yourself, and discover what you need in that moment so that you can learn to do this with more ease on your own.

People I work with often develop tools to help them through a challenging, scary, painful time. You might experience a deep sense of peace and reassurance with this new inner resource.

Many will also see or sense earlier versions of themselves they’ve pushed away out of shame or fear. You might find new ways of relating to these younger parts of yourself with compassion and understanding.

The possibilities are limitless. You might gain a strong sense of spiritual awareness or fulfillment. Or you might not feel much of anything, and that’s just as good! We get what we need when we need it. Sometimes, it’s as simple as stillness or neutrality. Or allowing space to really feel and explore our grief and respond with kindness.

Meditation has worked for me and countless others; it can work for you, too.

Deep meditation puts our brains in a theta brainwave rhythm, which expands our consciousness beyond our normal states of alertness, so we perceive things beyond what we usually perceive with our physical senses.

It’s a way to access our inner wisdom and guidance, and to develop compassionate attitudes toward ourselves over time.
