Interactive Guided Meditation

For many people (myself included, when I first started meditating), trying to be still can feel frustrating or even overwhelming.

That’s why it can help to start practicing in your therapy sessions, where you can receive gentle guidance.

Be held and supported

Unlike a recorded meditation, this is an interactive experience where you’re not left alone to navigate difficult sensations or emotions.

In a one-on-one session, I help individuals turn inward in a gentle, supported way. We stay connected throughout the process, to make sure the nervous system doesn’t become overwhelmed.

Together, we’ll

  • Create a sense of safety and grounding before going inward

  • Listen for what’s most needed in the moment

  • Meet parts of yourself with curiosity

  • Allow spiritual insight, grief, stillness, or anything else that shows up—without pressure to “achieve” anything

What clients have experienced

  • A felt sense of safety, love or clarity

  • Reconnection with younger parts of themselves, now seen through a lens of compassion

  • Spiritual presence

And, sometimes nothing “big” happens. Stillness, emotion, discomfort–it’s all welcome here.

Why it works

Deep meditation can bring the brain into theta wave states, where healing, integration, and insight often occur. Over time, these states support:

  • Greater self-compassion

  • Nervous system regulation

  • New neural pathways for connection and calm

  • A stronger sense of wholeness
